PC/White Goods Refurbishment

The possibility exists to set up a viable social enterprise using the model which has been exploited by the
Society of St. Vincent de Paul.

This could entail the collection. refurbishment and sale of white goods such as washing machines, cookers and tumble dryers, etc.

The project could possibly be extended to include computers.

Income Generating Mechanism

The project would allow local people to purchase the items at a reduced rate. Other income streams could be investigated with regard to the training and employment of refurbishment staff and other project workers.
